Mixing and matching elements throughout your home can add a unique and personal touch. To achieve a harmonious look, focus on a cohesive tone, style, or colour palette. This approach can enhance the overall aesthetic of your space.
Remember, the most important detail is that you feel satisfied and happy with the results of your design choices. Consider the following tips when using this helpful guide:
1: Choosing the right flex:
Classic Tones: Black, white, or grey flex works well in most interiors, providing a subtle, timeless look.
Metallic Tones: Metallic accents bring energy and a touch of luxury to minimalist spaces or rooms that showcase natural metal elements. Consider using whiskey, or silver flex.
Neutral tones: Light colours blend seamlessly into spaces that feature natural materials or vibrant colour schemes. These soft tones create a balanced look, allowing the key elements of the interior to stand out without being overshadowed. Try our cotton, brown and beige flex.
2: Selecting the Ideal Pendant Colour
Contrast or Compliment: Choose a pendant colour that either contrasts or compliments your walls, ceiling, or other décor elements.
Coordinate with colour Flex: Ensure your pendant colour harmonises with your chosen colour flex for a cohesive look.
Consider Light Output: Lighter pendant colours can brighten a room, while darker shades may create a more intimate atmosphere.
Tip: When selecting from our Rocco range, consider requesting a sample pack to experience the colours and materials firsthand, making your decision easier.
3: Choosing the Fixture Finish
Antiqued brass: a dark mottled finish with warm brassy undertones that looks and feels truly authentic. Adding a warm and natural feel to your interior.
Nickel: Provides a soft, neutral hue with a shiny finish, but has a golden glow which can be described as a ‘champagne colour. Ideal for both classic and modern settings.
Antique Bronze:
When considering these options, your personal taste matters. Choose colours that resonate with you and reflect your interior style. If you're still having trouble visualising, consider ordering samples to see how the finish will look in your space before making a final decision.
4: Ceiling Roses:
As well as fixture finishes, all of our pendant lights offer two styles of ceiling rose. The CUP is larger and allows room for wiring connections. This is perfect for all domestic environments. If you can recess the connects or are using besa conduit you can use our small CAP (which does not have room for connections within the unit. So please consult your installer to make sure you choose the right option for your build.
